I started this blog to share with you my day-to-day life, shatter any public perception of me in the media and show you that I'm a relatively normal, outgoing girl who is lucky enough to have great opportunities in life!
My adventure began when I won Britain's Next Top Model in 2007. It was a surreal experience and I never imagine I'd walked away with the winner's crown. Would you believe that before I entered the modelling world, I did a 9-5 routine as assistant Quantity Surveyor having graduated with a diploma Civil Engineering.
The prize was a contract with UKs leading modelling agency, Models 1, cosmetics campaign with Ruby & Millie, a seven page fashion spread with Company magazine including the privilege of being the cover girl for that month. I felt like I'd won the lottery!
My family especially my mumma was so proud, she was the one who initially encouraged me to enter the modelling world even after I'd nervously declined before as doubted that I'd be chosen as a finalist for the competition let alone win.
